THIS Fear is Killing Your Destiny

Yes, there is ONE fear that stops most people from reaching their dreams, and achieving greatness.  Just one.  It’s prevalent in men, women, mompreneurs, soloprenurs, all of them.  

The fear is irrational.  It has no true reflection on the person holding onto it.  If you have it, you’re not a bad person.  There’s nothing “wrong” with you.  If you don’t, you’ll achieve your fullest potential.

What is it, you ask?  This one irrational fear that can stop you and your business in your tracks?  It’s the fear of failure.  This one fear has ended so many journeys early.  But it didn't have to.  

To the men and women who succumbed, I’m truly sorry.  I’ve been there too.  But we needn’t worry.  Because, FAILURE IS NOT THE END.  Here’s a fact: failure is inevitable.  NO ONE can live their life without failing at something.  Business, personal, school, playing a sport, it doesn’t matter.  We ALL failed at something.  OK, actually, we all failed at SOMETHINGS.  No one can fail just once either.  Let’s be realistic.

Want to know a secret?  I’ve failed at 8 businesses so far in my life.  But here’s what makes that excellent - and puts the odds in my favor.  I reflect on what goes wrong each time I fail.  Eureka!  The missing ingredient, secret formula.  When you failed the last time at something, did you honestly take time to reflect on what ultimately let to the failure?  Or was it too painful?

Here are some things that came out of my failures. I have learned a whole slew of things NOT to do.  (Priceless knowledge, by the way.). I have learned what motivates ME, and what I will and will not work for and toward.  And, I have learned what I actually care about.  Yes, these are all components of my why.
